Diver Meets Mommy

I've always loved animated films that take place underwater, The Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo being my favorite.  I was inspired to make a sketch I did of a deep sea diver into this underwater scene.

I drew this guy last night at Animation Nation as part of an art jam.  I thought the theme of the group jam was "piecing it together" (cause I just heard it spoken), but it turned out to be "peace-ing it together".  I discovered this later when I saw it written on the board.  That explains all the drawings of hippies:)

Keyes Commercials

This is a series of 3 Keyes on Van Nuys commercials that I art directed and animated for Hoax Films.  The concept was to have the various musical groups singing the Keyes jingle on a stylized Van Nuys Blvd.  Big thanks go out to all the VFX guys at Hoax Films for keying all the green screen footage for me.  I'm also very grateful to Marcos Shih for his awesome help with matte painting.
